Video

So I just finished my first unit with the video camera. The students really enjoyed using the flip camera. In a prefect world we would have enough cameras for a double class, but the world isn't perfect. Only having one camera made it challenging to complete the activities. I was still really impressed with the process of creating the videos. Who knew that storyboards could be created with crayons on scratch paper.

I really look forward to creating lessons using the flip cameras. Any thoughts or experiences??

  1. Hi Matt,
My lesson in video making is coming up soon! When I am finshed, I will let you know how it goes. Yes, by having only 1 flip camera on hand, I am sure that it made the lesson go longer. Maybe if you take those videos and show them to your Principal and SBTS they may like what they see and order some flip video camera for teachers to use. You could also show teachers how to integrate video making into their curriculum. This would be a great opportunity for you to step up as as a teacher leader!
