Week two of the blog

So after a week of using a blog and having a chance to read other blogs, I think I am getting the idea. Blogs are great tools that can be used in the classroom. I think using a blog would be a nice addition to the personal fitness journal that we keep in my class.

  1. Yes, using blogs to keep a personal fitness journal is a great idea! Although implementing it might be tough, I would be a great alternative assignment for a student who has an extended absense from school. For example, I often have students go out of town for a week or two for a family vacation. I give that student the assignment of completing certain fitness activities (within reason) during their trip. With a blog he/she could describe what the workout was and how it went.

  2. Yes, I too, agree with you both about the use of blogging in PE for the use of a personal fitness journal, as well as a reflection journal of what they have learned in Physical Education. I feel this would be a great way for students to keep their own reflection journal and to get feed back from others about their ideas.
